Who we are
Hi, I’m Alisha Smith, the owner of Mountain Meadow Floral. I’ve spent most of my life in beautiful Missoula, Montana, where I met my husband, Ken. We’ve been together for 15 years (time really does fly), and we have two wonderful kids. They love adding their own creative touches to the business — including the hand-hammered flower tags that accompany our mason jar arrangements, made with all the joyful, chaotic energy you’d expect from children.
We have two goofy dogs, Roxy and Maeve. When they’re not napping, they’re busy keeping deer out of the yard or sneaking veggies from the garden.
Mountain Meadow Floral is a small, seasonal, family-run flower business rooted right here in Missoula. What began as a simple love of growing beautiful things has blossomed into a home-based floral studio centered around seasonal blooms and heartfelt, nature-inspired design.
I run this business on top of my full-time job, which means every bouquet, every harvest, and every delivery is truly a labor of love.
Most of our delicate flowers are grown in our own backyard garden, and with help from my mom, Lori, we grow on a slightly larger scale on our family plot in the Flathead. We avoid harsh chemicals and instead prioritize natural pest control — beneficial insects, nematodes, and healthy soil practices. Each stem is harvested with care and arranged with a rustic, garden-gathered style that celebrates the beauty of Montana’s changing seasons.
At the end of the day, we’re just a small family who loves growing and sharing flowers — and we’re so grateful for the chance to bring a little piece of our garden to you.
